Artistic Narrative and Conceptual Depth:

The Tree Altar Carpet is not merely a textile artwork—it is a spiritual sculpture in thread and light. Created by the renowned Master Yashar Malfouzi, this piece is the culmination of over a year of weaving and half a year of delicate hand-sculpting, embodying a union of sacred symbolism and masterful craftsmanship.

At the heart of the composition, a sacred tree grows from within an altar space—its roots guarded by two noble deer, symbols of purity and protection. The tree rises toward the divine, blossoming under a metaphysical light that symbolizes both life and spiritual elevation.

Crafted using traditional symmetrical knots with a density of 50 knots per 7 centimeters, this work was woven in Tabriz with the finest silk and wool. Its surface has been exquisitely embossed by hand using traditional scissors over the course of six months—creating a dimensional texture that dances with light and shadow depending on the viewer’s perspective.

This carpet is not intended to be walked on, but rather to be revered—mounted on a wall, where it can serve as a spiritual and visual focal point in refined environments. It is a living altar—a contemplative presence in any space.

Ideal for high-end art collections, private galleries, luxury interiors, and connoisseurs of rare, meaningful works that transcend decorative function and ascend into cultural and spiritual legacy.

“We have come from the heart of ancient civilizations to the future that awaits you.” And The Tree Altar Carpet is one of the most eloquent messengers of that journey.
